- Author's websites. Authors usually have their own websites. Conduct a search for the author's name. Look for a tab or link titled About or Contact. If there is an email address, contact the author for a mailing address.
- Publisher's website. Find the publisher's website, and look at the bottom of the webpage for Contact information. Make use of 800 numbers if they are listed under Contacts.
- Whitepages.com. Look on the back flap of the book for information about the author it usually lists city and state where he/she lives and an idea about age, you might search in the white pages for contact information. Most author's names are unlisted, so you may have the wrong contact.
